This premium bourbon hails from central Kentucky, where it is made with a rich heritage and a deep-rooted bourbon-making tradition. The nose reveals enticing notes of tropical fruity cocktails, harmoniously mingled with a sweetness and a lingering essence of rich white oak. History
1792 Sweet Wheat Straight Bourbon was crafted in a distillery built next to Thomas Moore Spring, back in 1879. There are two natural springs on the property that have limestone that filters the water, which is essential for creating the bourbon's unique flavor profile. Limestone filters out the iron and adds calcium to our water, making it ideal for the bourbon-making process. After we’ve taken our corn, rye, and barley, cooked it, fermented, and distilled it, the spirit is transferred to barrels for aging. The tail box in the distillation process serves as a show box, allowing distillers to observe and taste the whiskey before it is placed in barrels crafted from copper. This meticulous process ensures that each batch of 1792 whiskey is of the highest quality, showcasing the rich heritage and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle.
