1/8" BSP Retention (Check) Valve

This updated one-way "no-return" valve prevents backflow in 1/8" BSP lines and is used across a remarkably wide swath of the industry, CMA-family machines (Astoria, Orchestrale, Wega), Brasilia, ECM, Nuova Simonelli, La Pavoni, Quick Mill, Rancilio and Reneka all spec this same valve design.

INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly for anyone comfortable with basic plumbing; note the flow-direction arrow when installing since it only permits flow one way.

PRO TIPS

• Confirm the flow-direction arrow before installing, a check valve installed backward will block flow entirely rather than just preventing backflow.
