Tasting Notes

Nose:
As expected, the creamy nose is full of vanilla with echoes of lemon leading to waves of vanilla mixed in with toffee, accented by the cask, which has not overpowered the malt, instead, bringing a creamy caramel-like roundness, how you would expect at this age. A Speyside distillery at its fullest, with the wood echoing off the malt exactly as you would hope for.

Palate:
Sweet and spicy, with hints of various honeys and barley sugars topped with vanilla essence. The wooden notes bloom with each sip, complemented by caramel, dried fig, pears, green apples, and butterscotch on the palate.

Finish:
A warming mouthfeel with a subtle, grassy finish.
