565 Helo Personal Retention Lanyard

For use as a personal retention lanyard in a helicopter. Designed using the first all-black, nonreflective, oxide-plated quick-release shackle made of stainless steel by Ronstan.

The oversized quick-release shackle allows the user to easily release from a harness or belt in the event of an unplanned landing. The swedged release pin eliminates the plunger pin from releasing in the event the retaining ring is broken. The retaining split ring is safety TIG welded.

The quick-release shackle uses Velcro to secure the release tab in place to lessen the chance of inadvertent release. Built with 1.125 inch Mil-Spec 5625 webbing that has better cut resistance than standard 1 inch Mil-Spec webbing.

Note

The quick-release portion of the lanyard can be made to not quick release by attaching a three-stage auto-locking carabiner to the base portion of the quick release.
