A H Hirsch 20 Year Old

Distilled in spring 1974 at the Pennco Distillery in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania, the AH Hirsch 20 Year Old Bourbon Finest Reserve Red Wax is regarded as one of the finest bourbons ever made. With only a few bottles remaining worldwide, and even fewer in pristine condition with perfect wax seals and labels, it is a true rarity.

Originally commissioned by local farmer A. Hirsch, the bourbon was never bottled by him but was sold to Gordy Hue, known for creating the Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve. When the Van Winkles ran out of their legendary Stitzel-Weller supply, Gordy sought a high-quality alternative, leading to the creation of the AH Hirsch Finest Reserve Bourbon label.
