Advantage Multi for Dogs

Advantage Multi for Dogs is a once-a-month topical medication that prevents heartworm disease, treats circulating microfilaria in heartworm positive dogs, kills adult fleas and treats flea infestations, treats and controls sarcoptic mange, and treats and controls common intestinal parasites. Dogs six months of age and older should be tested for heartworm disease prior to being put on a preventive program and tested annually thereafter.

Cautions:
Do not use this product on cats, ensure dogs cannot lick the product from the application site. The safety of Advantage Multi for Dogs has not been established in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. No interactions have been noted with this medication. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Usage:
Advantage Multi should be applied as directed by your veterinarian. Wash hands with soap and water after handling the medication.
