Through experimenting with blend ratios, Owen has created a traditional bourbon with a modern twist, seamlessly combining flavours from three distinct barrels: Hungarian, Chinkapin, and French Oak.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh, ripe apricot balanced by rich toasted oak, with highlights of honeysuckle blossom.
Palate: Bold baking spices from the oak with subtle hints of brioche and vanilla custard. Top notes of red plum anchored by fresh tobacco and leather tannins.
Finish: A pleasant spice, lingering notes of nutmeg, black pepper, and cardamom, with a refined sweetness of brown sugar and molasses.
