Angostura Superior 5 Year Aged Rum is the soft, approachable aged expression from the House of Angostura in Trinidad — delicate with nuances of tropical fruits, mangoes, and bananas, drawn from 5 years of Caribbean barrel aging.

The House of Angostura traces to Dr. Johann Siegert’s 1824 creation of the original aromatic bitters in Venezuela; the company moved to Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1876 and began producing rum. Angostura owns the only rum distillery in Trinidad today and controls the manufacturing process end to end, with master blenders maintaining guarded formulas from molasses selection through cask selection.
