Antilles New England IPA

Antilles is a tropical forward New England style American IPA (NEIPA). The name is taken from the Antilles Ocean current which brings water from the tropics to the shores of Eastern North America. Much like the current, this Brew Box brings huge tropical flavour to your beer, made with hops that carry flavours like coconut, pineapple, citrus, mango, spice and stone fruit.

The malt profile contains no roasted flavours to interfere with the fruity, fragrant, aroma and taste. The malt used features Canadian grown 2-row, flaked oats to give the beer body and head, wheat to add a slight sweetness and haze, and Monquart malt from Johnville, NB. Monquart is added to support the layering of base malt to give a local touch to this tropical juice bomb!

The addition of hops towards the end of the boil and after the boil add huge amounts of flavour and aroma and keep the bitterness of these high alpha acid hops restrained. Water treatment minerals are also included in this beer kit to promote the tropical vibes from the hops. Once the beer is finished initial fermentation it is then dry hopped prior to packaging to further accelerate the wave of tropical juiciness!

The hops included are subject to availability, as some can be difficult to source due to their popularity, but all will be noted for their tropical forward characteristics. Please contact us for the specific varieties if you are interested in this unique beer box! This is a blend of 3 of our premium hops listed on our site that have huge tropical fruit presence!

Try this brew for a refreshing taste of the tropics! This brew would be considered an intermediate to advanced recipe to brew at home. Rice hulls are also contained to promote mash extraction due to the high gravity.

Expected ABV is 7.0%

This kit is appropriate for all-grain brewing with a hot liquor tank, mash tun, & boil kettle, or using the brew in a bag (BIAB) method.

Kit contains all required base grains, speciality grains, additives, hops, & yeast to make this beer. Each box is made to order to ensure freshness of all ingredients.

Kits DO NOT include all grain brewing equipment, sanitizer, priming sugar, bottles, or bottle caps.
