Dogs are constantly exposed to intestinal worms, even before they are born. Some species of worms can transfer to puppies through the placenta or from their mothers milk, while adult dogs are exposed to worm larvae or eggs through the soil in parks and backyards. Puppies under 6 months of age need to be wormed more frequently than adults as they produce large numbers of worm eggs and are particularly susceptible to infestation. Unwormed puppies are at risk of developing gastrointestinal problems like diarrhoea and vomiting, poor growth, anaemia and even death. To avoid this they should be wormed every 2 weeks from 2 to 12 weeks of age, then monthly until they are at least 6 months old. Adult dogs require treatment for worms at least every 3 months.

Safe for use in all dogs over 1.5kg including puppies, pregnant and lactating bitches. Pregnant bitches should be treated prior to mating, shortly before whelping and then at least every 3 months thereafter.
