The 7th release in Bardstown Bourbon's Fusion series continues in the tradition of blending younger bourbons with older ones. The younger whiskeys are Bardstown's own 3-year-old spirits with 3 distinct mash bills. The first bourbon accounts for 54% of the blend and features a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. The second is crafted with 60% corn and 40% rye, while the third has a 4-grain recipe of 60% corn, 26% rye, 10% wheat, and 4% malted barley. The remaining 30% of the components are distributed between 2 sourced Kentucky whiskeys, both 12 years of age. Bottled at 98.1 proof, the younger spirit comes together in perfect harmony with the sourced mature whiskeys, resulting in a vibrant, complex, and elegant expression that's a worthy addition to the sought-after series.
