A single cask whisky from Benriach released as a UK exclusive. This peated Speysider was distilled in 2009 and matured in a single port pipe for 12 years before being bottled in 2021 at a robust cask strength of 59.7% abv. There’s a lovely rich smoke here with great sweetness from it’s time in the port pipe. Aromas of elegant smoke interweave with red cherry and berry fruits. The palate offers black cherry, dark chocolate and velvety espresso notes. An intriguing cask strength whisky that is one of only 753 bottles.
