Bertrand Delespierre Villedommange Meunier 2018

This comes from the Villedommange parcel in the Premier Cru village of Chamery that was planted by the current owner's parents in 1986 and 1991. What is used for this unique bottling is entirely Pinot Meunier from the excellent 2018 harvest that was raised at the winery in stainless steel tanks with malolactic blocked. After the Champagne Process and four years on its lees, this was disgorged with 2 grams per liter of dosage. The nose opens with a wonderful sense of presence and pure Meunier character with citrus, apple, apricot, peach, and a clay minerality slash earth. The palate has a presence to it with peach, citrus, spice, and some delicate clay earth notes. MK D&M Tasting Notes May 2026
