Black Maple Hill Small Batch Bourbon (750 mL)

The Black Maple Hill brand was first introduced back in 2000, produced by CVI Brands, a non-distiller spirits importer and bottler based in San Carlos, California. According to Paul Joseph, owner of CVI brands, "As soon as I tasted the Stein bourbons and rye, I knew I’d found my source. The first thing that caught my attention is that they grew their own grain, so they have 100% control over the quality of their grain, and it’s all local Oregon grain."

Tasting Notes: 

• Nose: Straw, Slight Must, Red Licorice, Honey, Salted Toffee
• Palate: Dominant Fresh Honey, Pine, Grassy Notes, Caramel
• Finish: Pine, Pepper, Oak, Overall Dry
