Black Market Spirits 3 Year Old Rye Whiskey (1L)

Black Market Spirits 3 Year Old Rye Whiskey is distilled in Owensboro, Kentucky from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. After three years of aging, it is brought to California for proofing and bottling in small batches. This 1-liter release is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV).

Light sandalwood, toasted coconut, and caramel lead the nose. The palate moves toward crème brûlée, mild brown spice, and another touch of coconut, followed by a warm, slightly dry finish shaped by spice and oak tannin. It has enough rye structure for an Old Fashioned, but also drinks well neat or over a large cube.
