Description: The BLACKENED x Willett Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey marks the inaugural release in this collaboration series. It begins with a blend of low-rye and high-rye whiskey recipes, carefully selected by BLACKENED Master Distiller Rob Dietrich and Willett Distillery’s Master Distiller Drew Kulsveen from the Willett Family Estate Reserve. The rye whiskey is then finished in Madeira casks, adding a layer of rich complexity. To further enhance the flavor, the whiskey undergoes the proprietary BLACK NOISE™ sonic-enhancement process during the finishing phase. This expression features whiskey aged an average of 6 and a half years, bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered, delivering a bold and refined experience.
