Bodegas Jorge Ordóñez 'Vermut Falset Negre Desde 1912' NV

Agricola Falset Marça is one of the most historic wineries in Montsant and Priorat, and is one of a collection of "Catedrales del Vino," or "Cathedrals of Wine." These were a collection of wineries designed by the famous architect Cesar Martinelli, a disciple of Gaudí. The "Catedral" of Agricola Falset Marça was designed in 1919, and one of the most historic productions of the winery was their vermouth, which they produced from before the inauguration of the building. In the 1960's, the traditional recipe of the historic vermouth was lost, and was recovered by chance nearly 50 years later.

Demonstrates an exuberant nose of ripe berries and garrigue. Fresh and bright on the attack, followed by voluptuous fruit and moderate sweetness with a hint of tannin on the finish.
