Bowmore 34 Year Old Whisky 1st Fill Oloroso Octave Finish Murray McDavid Aficionado 41.4%

A rare and impressive Islay malt from Bowmore one of Scotland's most storied distilleries. This bottling belongs to the new Aficionado collection by Murray McDavid. In this collection are rare, hand-selected vintage single malt whiskies from some of Scotland's most respected distilleries. 

Matured for 32 years in an ex-bourbon cask, Murray McDaivd filled this precious spirit into two first fill Oloroso sherry octaves and after two years the whisky was married together. The resulting single malt is a true delight offering an archetypal Bowmore from the whisky world of old. 

Bottled in 2025 at 41.4% abv with just 160 bottles produced, this is a beautifully poised dram for enthusiast and collectors who appreciate a refined sherry complexity in their dram.
