This wine shows a perfect balance between maturity and finesse. It is extremely silky and polished with supple tannins that are typical of the Tuscan coast. Intense aromas of black fruit. A firm and silky wine with fine tannins and a luscious finish.
Blend: 40% Petit Verdot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc
This wine is perfect alongside food with balanced, intense flavors, meat and game dishes fried or stewed, poultry such as pigeon or pheasant.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, the 2017 Ilatraia is a real beauty and one of the only wines that has taken on the challenges of this hot and dry vintage with undisputed results. Ilatraia opens to an inky dark appearance and thick phenolic weight that is given extra volume and depth thanks to layers of cherry, dried blackberry and plum. This is a full-bodied red wine worthy of a big Fiorentina steak.
A big, rich red with lots of blackberry and chocolate character. Walnuts, too. It’s full-bodied. Lots of blueberry and chocolate at the finish. Needs a few years to come together.
Made with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Petit Verdot and 20% Cabernet Franc, this opens with heady aromas of ripe black-skinned berries, cedar and scorched earth. The concentrated, full-bodied palate offers dried black cherry, clove, mocha and tobacco alongside fine-grained tannins.
