• Details:  This stunning set of 6 Brandy / Cognac Sniffers are from Sasaki Glass.  They have a beautiful cut glass design of bamboo stalks and leaves.  The blown glass construction offers superior quality, perfect for any bar.  Sasaki was a premier glass manufacturer located in Japan, (now known as "Toyo-Sasaki Glass").  This same pattern was made by other manufacturers, with very slight variations in design, shapes and sizes.  This one is best identified by looking at the two hash marks across the bamboo leaves, plus the stem shape.  This set would make a great addition to your bar.  Great gift for a host who enjoys brandy, cognac, or vintage glassware.

• Dimensions: 4.75 inches Tall, approx. 3.5 inches in Diameter (at widest point) and 2.5 inches in Diameter (top opening).

Sasaki was a premier glass manufacturer located in Kanda, Japan, with a long history going back to 1902.  Founded by Sojiro Sasaki, originally manufacturing oil lamps.  They enjoyed many "firsts" in the Japanese glassware industry.  In 1982 the company moved all their new technology and know-how to Tokyo, a strategic move to grow their workforce and have a larger gateway to the rest of the world.  In 2002 they merged with Toyo Glass Co, LTD to become TSG (Toyo-Sasaki Glass).
