Burnside 1998 25 Year Old Whisky 51.4% 35cl

This 1998 vintage Burnside 35cl blended malt whisky was chosen as the first Cadenhead’s Club 2024 bottling. Burnside was created by William Grant & Sons and is know as a ’teaspooned’ malt. Intriguingly a tiny amount of whisky from another distillery is mixed with whisky from one distillery. Therefore not sold as a single malt under one distillery’s name. 

After distillation in 1998 this whisky was aged for a quarter of a century in a single bourbon hogshead and bottled at 51.4% abv. A delicious balanced release with an abundance of fruit on the palate.
