Burundi Kibingo

This exceptional microlot from Burundi’s Kayanza region is sourced from more than 3,500 smallholder farmers who deliver carefully selected cherries to Greenco’s Kibingo washing station near Kibira National Park. Greenco supports local farmers through above-average cherry prices, quality incentives, education, and community programs designed to strengthen livelihoods across the region.

Family-picked cherries are pulped, density-sorted, fermented, washed, graded, and carefully dried before export. This lot was separated for its exceptional cup quality, offering a syrupy body, juicy acidity, and vibrant notes of ginger peach purée, Honeycrisp apple, panela, lemongrass, and dried tropical fruit.
