• Calvados produced in the Pays d’Auge Appellation of Normandy by Stephane Grandval in the small village of Grandouet • Cider is naturally fermented in well-seasoned tonneaux • Twice distilled from 100% apples on a copper pot still • Aged in varying sizes of used French oak casks and reduced twice with well water to reach bottling strength • Aged 2 years • A nose of freshly cut green apple, baker’s yeast, and vanilla bean leads to a spicy palate of fresh apple skin and a lingering note of white flowers • 45% ABV This is a vibrant young Calvados, ideal for cocktailing or simply enjoying with tonic and a touch of sugar.
