Caol Ila 9 Year Old Whisky Craft Release 58.2%

A youthful Islay dram bursting with character, drawn from a single hogshead at cask strength.

This Caol Ila was matured for 9 years in hogshead, no. #303484 before bottling at 58.2% abv. Bottled by Whisky Craft, a new independent bottler founded in Edinburgh in 2025 by Sonny Charles. 

This Islay single malt captures the distillery’s unmistakable coastal character. Aromas of coastal smoke and sweet BBQ are complemented by a palate of cracked black pepper, lemon zest, jam, subtle notes of pear pie and herbal peat on the palate. The finish is long, juicy and sweet with lingering smoke. 

A Limited outturn of just 152 bottles each individually numbered.
