CaribSea® Liferock™ Shapes, 20 lbs

Give your aquarium the visual appeal and biological performance of live rock - without any impact on the world's coral reefs. Life Rock by CaribSea is the ecologically responsible (and budget conscious) alternative to wild live rock. CaribSea® Liferock™ Shapes are made of an aragonitic base rock, instead of cement like many other artificial rocks. Every Liferock contains a network of micro and macro pores that intertwine within the rock's internal structure, creating the perfect environment for natural nitrifying bacteria. Every LifeRock from CaribSea has a coating and texture that mimics the deep tone of mature coralline algae, right out of the box. Every box of Liferock shapes contains a mixture of arches, rings, and tunnels giving you unique pieces that can be used on their own or as accents to the rest of your aquascape. Life Rock requires no cement or curing and will not cause pH spikes.

The Liferock you receive will look similar to the pieces pictured, but every box is different. Five to eight pieces are included in every box of LifeRock Shapes. We recommend 1 to 2 pounds of rock per gallon of aquarium water. Any extra rock not used for aquascaping can be broken up and placed in your refugium, overflows, or sump for added filtration. Arrives dry, very clean, and is safe for all fish and invertebrates. Great for any saltwater aquarium setup!

Please keep in mind that most damage caused during transport will NOT compromise the effectiveness or integrity of the product. Broken pieces can be reattached using aquarium adhesive or epoxy to create a custom reef aquarium landscape.
