Unique Production Method: Casa Maestri adheres to the ancestral methods of mezcal production, which involve harvesting maguey plants at their peak maturity. The hearts of these plants, known as piñas, are then slowly roasted in earthen pits lined with hot stones. This centuries-old technique infuses the mezcal with its characteristic smoky flavor, reminiscent of the earth from which it originates.

Distillation Process: Following roasting, the piñas are crushed and the extracted juice is fermented using natural yeasts in open-air vats, allowing the local flora to influence the fermentation process.
