The Century K2953-1 Linc Screen II variable shade 9-13 welding helmet has an auto-darkening lens filter (ADF), solar cells, and a protective shell and can be used for welding or plasma cutting. The ADF has a variable shade range from 9 to 13 to protect the wearer's eyes from radiant energy. Solar cells convert sunlight into energy to power the helmet. The welding helmet's shell protects the wearer's face, forehead, neck, and ears from weld sparks and spatters. The lens measures 3-13/16 x 1-23/32 inches (W x H) and is made of polycarbonate, which resists scratches and impacts. A fore/aft adjustment allows the wearer to adjust the distance between the lens and the face.
