Contratto Fernet

Contratto Fernet is a bittersweet Italian digestif liqueur from Contratto in Canelli, Piedmont — produced from the family’s recipes dating to the 1890s. Fernet is one of the most bitter Italian liqueur categories, traditionally drunk as a post-meal digestif. The Contratto expression brings back the historic Piedmontese take on the style after a multi-decade absence from the lineup.

Italian Fernet was a defining apéritivi/digestivi category in the early 20th century, with Contratto’s expression sitting alongside its restored Vermouth Bianco, Vermouth Rosso, Americano, and Bitter apéritif.
