Crown Royal Salted Caramel is crafted as a uniquely smooth spirit with over 50 different whiskies blended together to create this complex flavor. Originating in 1939, Crown Royal was conceived when King George VI and Queen Elizabeth traveled across North America, where a local entrepreneur aimed to craft a whiskey fit for royalty. After sampling over 600 blends, he created what he deemed the perfect whiskey and named it Crown Royal. The original recipe is derived from the purest water of Lake Winnipeg and a blend of rye, corn, and barley, with about 80% of the grains sourced locally. This innovative flavored whiskey, alongside Vanilla and Peach, represents a modern twist on the classic Crown Royal heritage, embodying a sweet yet robust flavor profile that appeals to a wide audience.
