Domaine Belle Crozes-Hermitage 2021

From the Northern Rhône’s Crozes-Hermitage appellation, Domaine Belle’s 2021 vintage showcases the power and finesse of organically farmed Syrah. Philippe Belle, the third generation of his family to steward the estate, crafts this wine with a focus on purity, allowing the terroir to shine. While Crozes-Hermitage may not have the same prestige as Hermitage, wines like this prove it can deliver remarkable depth and elegance.  

Rich and expressive, this Syrah bursts with notes of ripe blueberry, violet, and cedar, layered with hints of leather and spice. The balance between freshness and structure makes it both plush and approachable, with refined tannins and a lingering finish. The organic farming practices bring out a vibrancy that enhances the fruit-forward profile while maintaining the earthy complexity expected from a Rhône red.  

Best enjoyed after decanting, this wine pairs beautifully with lamb chops, braised beef, or hearty vegetarian dishes like spiced eggplant.
