Domaine du Petit Castel comes from their estate in Jerusalem. With an elevation of 2,400 feet, the vineyards yield smaller quantities of quality grapes. Handpicked, fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak, this blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Full-bodied with a hint of tannin, this wine is a harmony of fruity-oak with a deep purple color.

To pair, the team at CWS suggests roasted veal and potatoes or with a traditional challah. Founded in 1988 by Eli Ben Zaken, Domaine du Castel has familial roots from the first harvest from the first modern-day vineyard to be found in the Judean Hills he planted in the backyard of his home in Ramat Raziel.
