- [UMEBOSHI AME] UMEBOSHI AME candy was created by the first generation Eitaro during the Ansei era of the Edo period, taking great pains to make this high-class confectionery more popular among the common folk. It achieves a full-bodied flavor you will never get tired of by heating and concentrating syrup, which was made by melting top-quality, high-purity sugar with a unique and rich flavor over an open flame at high heat.
- Compared to other candies, Eitaro-ame candies are made from high purity sugar and do not stick to the teeth. They are also known for their crisp flavor that does not irritate the tongue. This candy was stretched into a stick (bou 棒) shape and cut into a crimson-colored finger-size form resembling an umeboshi (pickled plum, 梅干) using scissors. The people of Edo coined it UMEBOSHI AME (梅ぼ志), a pun made from style and wit.
- [MATCHA]We selected matcha capable of drawing out the candy's best flavor. Our manufacturing techniques ensure the color and flavor of the matcha stay intact. This matcha candy was made purely using matcha with no artificial flavorings or coloring.
- [MILKED TEA]This black tea candy was made with zero artificial flavorings or coloring, removing any odd flavors and ensuring you will never get tired of it. The rich aroma and flavor of the black tea enhance its elegant sweetness. This milk tea-type candy was made by adding fresh cream to house-blend black tea.
- [HONEY MENTHOL]We aimed to create a troche-like candy you can enjoy anytime without getting tired of it. Honey is said to be good for the throat, so we exclusively use Japan-made honey. Mint decongests nasal passages, so we focused on the perfect blend that comfortably penetrates the nose but does not overstimulate it. We created this simple confectionery with only mint and honey mixed into the plain candy, giving it a deep taste you will never get tired of.
- [VANILLA MILK]This vanilla milk candy was made using a technique that brings out the best of its ingredients, making the most of the aroma of the vanilla beans and fresh cream. We added the vanilla beans to the candy without artificial flavorings, drawing out a milky taste you will never get tired of.
- Eitaro-ame is Eitaro's representative product, continuing to provide an unchanging flavor by inheriting manufacturing techniques that go back to the Edo period (1818).
