The legacy of Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee, the pioneer of the commercial single barrel bourbon concept, is right before your very eyes. Sazerac Company and Buffalo Trace Distillery can both be associated with this Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Basically, a Buffalo Trace product, just marketed by Sazearc.

A single cask makes Elmer T. Lee’s signature Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, as well as the distillery’s secret Mash Bill #2. Also considered a no-age-statement (NAS), so age is varied per bottle. So, if there is no definite aging, what can we expect from a bottle taste-wise?

Its signature flavor is fruit, honey, and vanilla with a light spiciness. On the nose, you get notes of clove, vanilla, and old leather. Lastly, you get a long and warm finish. As you can see, age is nothing but a number.
