Originally developed by instructors at the Appalachian Bushman School, the Ember Knife was born out of a need for a trusty secondary blade—one that’s just as reliable, durable, and versatile as your primary belt knife, but in a smaller, more controllable form.

During intense courses like the Bushman Course and Advanced Bushcraft, instructors frequently turned to this compact blade for everything from crafting projects to skinning game and everyday camp chores.

The Ember functions flawlessly as either a belt knife or pack knife. Its smaller size and balanced proportions make it ideal for extended-use cutting tasks, offering increased control and comfort. Constructed with O1 tool steel and a Scandi grind, the blade is tough, easy to sharpen, and perfect for precision bushcraft tasks.

The handle features stabilized burlap scales, giving the knife a unique, timeless look that darkens and develops character with use.

Each Ember Knife comes paired with a premium leather sheath that’s built to last a lifetime.
