Equipos Navazos La Bota No. 66: Spanish Single Cask Single Malt Whisky

The Equipos Navazos La Bota No. 66 is a single cask single malt whisky, made from malted barley grown and distilled in Castilla la Vieja, Spain. Aged for just over 12 years, this whisky spent over 7 years in a single dry Oloroso sherry cask. 

Nose: There is a lot going on here: honey, roasted barley, oak spices, hints of chocolate caramel, dried fruit and tobacco leaf.

Palate: Thinnish but not unpleasantly so, with muscatel grapes, tobacco, oak spices, a hint of campfire, milk chocolate caramels, and unmistakable sherry funk.

Finish: Long, sweet finish with all the palate flavours following through.
