  The innovative Espazzola is the perfect tool for easily cleaning the surface of an espresso machine group head before backflushing. The Espazzola fits into the group head just like a portafilter, and the flexible membrane acts as an effective cleaning brush that adapts to its shape! The body of the Espazzola channels the water down through the centre, keeping your hands safely away from the water flow. With just a little bit of movement, the group head will be clean in no time!

  This is the 56-58mm size Espazzola. Please make sure the portafilter of your machine has two "ears" or "hooks" and an open diameter of 57 to 59 millimetres! Often it is easier to measure the diameter of the tamper: this should be between 56 and 58 millimetres!

• Made of BPA-free plastic and silicone.

  The following machines are known to be incompatible despite meeting the criteria in the Description:

  • Gaggia CC: mounting into narrow group head is difficult during first uses.
  • Lever-type machines: mounting into narrow group head is difficult during first uses.
  • Lelit Anna (PL41LEM, PL41EM, PL41QE) , Anita (PL042TEMD, PL042EMI, PL042LM, PL042QE), Diana (PL60R1), Grace (PL81T): Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group head is too narrow.
  • ISOMAC DIAMANTINA, VENUS, MAVERICK and GIADA: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group head is too narrow.
  • La Pavoni, Domus Bar and Domus Casa: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group head is too narrow.
  • Ascaso Dream, Steel and Basic: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group head is too narrow.
  • Illy Francis, Francis!: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group head is too narrow.
  • GRAEF (all machines): Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group head extends downwards in the back.
  • Breville (a.k.a. 'Sage', all machines): Espazzola doesn't fit, collides with hot water outlet located behind the group head.
• To use the Espazzola 56-58mm Group Head Cleaner, insert into the group head like you would a portafilter, run water, and scrub back and forth! Rinse after cleaning.
