• Lower DRZ / Dropped your bike a full 2 inches can help foot reach the ground, perfect for a 5'1" to 5'9" male and female rider. Allows the rear of the bike to be lowered 2" from stock to improve comfort and handling.
• Used a 12mm socket to remove the sleeves from the old links, a 1/4" drive socket, and a soft blow hammer. Hammered them into the new lowering links and used the blow hammer to install them as well, and a vise would also work. These will also soften up your rear spring quite a bit because they change how force is applied.
• It was a real issue on very technical terrain and occasionally on the road when you were finally tired and stopped at a light on a slight hill. OH, also backing up in parking lots was almost impossible, but now possible! The drz400 lowering link helps you can now sit FLAT footed on your DRZ.
