Hazy double india pale ale hopped with citra t90, citra cryo and mosaic t90, cryo and hyperboost.
Whipped up in collaboration with our forever buds @theveilbrewing of Richmond, Virginia. Sort of a mash up of two former collaborations with these friends, the beer itself is reimagined and updated from the very first Unusual Frequency we ever released, which also just so happened to be the first ever hazy IPA we ever released. We are stoked to be revisiting this beer with the hazy pioneers who helped us tremendously along the way.
Mashed with water from our wells along with a mindful blend of local pilsner malt, flaked oats along with raw and malted wheat. Fermented with our house low flocc yeast strain for a turbid appearance and luxurious mouthfeel. Hopped intensely with a bursting citrus and tropical blend of citra and mosaic, a few different forms of each.
While the beer itself is a riff on our first ever of the style, the name is a nod to a different old school veil collab. You see, before we were down with the haze, we made a double IPA with the veil and put bread in it (we used to do that a lot). That beer was called Yeah Yeah, Know Know. Anyhow, friends that have been making beer together for a long time is a cool thing. Drink this juice. It’s real gud. No no, yeah yeah.
