Forward/Slash Thornhurst Rye 750ml

Forward/Slash is a boutique blending house based in Winter Park, Florida, founded by Michael Buffa and Tim Bradstreet — two whiskey obsessives who turned their hobby into a business built on transparency, scouring the country for standout craft distillers and blending their barrels into something new. Michael also founded the Orlando Whiskey Society along the way, and that same community-first spirit shaped this release: Thornhurst takes its name from two of the brand's favorite customers, Thornton and Bathhurst, combined into one word as a tribute to the friends who've supported them.

This unfinished straight rye blend draws from four distilleries: Journeyman in Three Oaks, Michigan (organic 60% rye/40% wheat); Dad's Hat in Bristol, Pennsylvania, the revivalists of Pennsylvania-style rye; Breuckelen Distilling in Brooklyn, New York, distilling 100% New York rye on a Coffey column still; and Manifest Distilling in Jacksonville, Florida. Only 795 bottles were produced.
