Description: Foursquare Rum Distillery Exceptional Cask Selection 2010 is a single blended aged rum produced by Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados. A blend of double retort copper pot still and twin column Coffey still rums distilled from molasses by Master Distiller and Master Blender, Richard Seale, this release was tropically aged 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled without sugar, coloring, or other additives.

Amongst the most coveted rums in the world, each release of the Exceptional Cask Series aims to achieve balance relative to a desired profile, resulting in distinct vintages. This release, Mark XXI, reveals a lively nose of star anise, spiced orange, vanilla, and licorice root with undertones of Black Forest cake. A lengthy, elegant palate opens with more baking spice—cinnamon and clove—before progressing into bananas foster, fresh plum, and salted caramel with notes of pineapple and toasted pine nut.
