The Glen Grant Mr George Legacy Second Edition was release in tribute of Mr George Urquhart a second generation member of the family that owns Gordon & MacPhail. He was a single malt whisky pioneer and master of maturation that began his pursuit of perfection in 1933. He created the iconic Connoisseurs Choice range of whiskies in 1968.
This superb single malt was laid down by ‘Mr George’ Urquhart. Distilled 10th of October 1957 at Glen Grant distillery and matured for a phenomenal 64 years in a first-fill sherry butt this whisky was filled to bottle on the 9th of November 2021. An extremely rare and collectable single cask whisky from Gordon & MacPhail.
