Scotch whisky evolved from a Scottish drink called uisge beatha, which means “water of life”.
The taste of whiskey is soft, with a silky, moderately greasy texture of medium viscosity, dry shades of oak, smoke, roasted malt and Mediterranean nuts. Dryish aftertaste, pleasant, smoky-woody. In the aroma of whiskey, subtle malt and smoky tones are mixed with very delicate and dry oak.
Highland Gold is a mild whisky with typical blended scotch whisky, good on the rocks or for mixing.
