‘Sinteis’ (pronounced sin-teesh) means ‘synthesis’ in Scottish Gaelic. Each Sinteis release embodies GlenAllachie's cask creativity, merging two bold yet complementary wood types to craft unparalleled expressions.
Uniting rich single malt matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheons and Chinquapin, a native American oak from the Ozarks in Missouri, has created a medley of dark fruit, baking spices and chocolate tones.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Liquorice, butterscotch and grilled honeycomb, with candied orchard fruits, cocoa and treacle tart.
Palate: Ginger, butterscotch and candied lemon slices, followed by fig jam, blackberries and molasses.
Finish: Cinnamon spice and rich cocoa.
