The Glenallachie 2012 Vintage Cuvée Wine Cask Finish is an exceptional limited edition whisky. Distilled in 2012 and matured in ex-bourbon casks before moving to four different premium European red wine barriques from Recite Della Valpolicella, Languedoc and two Premier Cru Classés. These four casks were expertly chosen by renowned Master Distiller, Billy Walker. The character development of each individual cask was carefully monitored before skillfully blending the whiskies together to create the Cuvée Cask Finish. Orange blossom, espresso and honeysuckle fill the nose followed by waves of dark chocolate, redcurrants, burnt coffee beans, blackberries and orange zest on the palate.
