Gold Bar Blended Whiskey: Joe Montana Limited Edition (750Ml)

One of the greatest quarterbacks of all time deserves a gold, right? Gold Bar Blended Whiskey honors one of the greats with this Joe Montana Limited Edition release. Also referred to as the Blend 273, this is a blend of grain mash bill of 10% rye, 10% barley, and 80% corn. This is a limited edition, and it has the San Francisco 49ers overstripe and Montana’s signature. Most notably, the Blend 273 is named after the 273 regular-season touchdown passes Joe Montana has achieved throughout his NFL career.

Gold Bar Whiskey is an award-winning American Whiskey. This isn’t just an average bottle of whiskey with the Montana name slapped on it. What it promises you is notes of brown sugar and caramel. Once that sip settles in, vanilla and honeysuckle come through and finishes with light spice, aged oak, and raisin. On the nose, expect warm brown sugar, vanilla, and light honeyed grain. 

A fairly recent release in 2023, the Joe Montana Limited Edition hasn’t had much time to rack up as many awards as the person it’s named after. Gold Bar Whiskey itself, however, has received accolades like the Double Gold Meda at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Best in Show at the Denver International Spirits Competition, and Gold Medal in the 2016 San Diego Spirits Festival.
