Pinot Grigio is usually crafted in the Italian style—light-bodied, crisp, dry, and refreshing with bright acidity and flavours like green apple and citrus. It's made to be clean and easy-drinking, often fermented at cool temperatures and bottled young.

In contrast, Pinot Gris follows the French (Alsatian) style, offering a richer, fuller-bodied wine with a rounder texture. These wines may display flavours of ripe pear, spice, and honey, sometimes with a touch of sweetness or oak influence.
