Highland Park 12 Year Old

Crafted in the rugged landscapes of Orkney, Highland Park 12 Year Old is a whisky shaped by its island home. Matured in first-fill, sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, it carries a rich balance of spicy sweetness and mellow warmth. The natural golden amber hue comes straight from the cask, while the influence of Orkney’s unique heathered peat lends a gentle, aromatic smokiness that lingers through the finish.  

Its aroma is fresh and floral, with notes of Seville oranges, heather honey, and a whisper of jasmine. The palate is full-bodied yet smooth, offering layers of spiced fruitcake, burnt orange, and woody spice, rounded out by the signature heathered peat smoke. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving behind a peppery warmth and a touch of citrus zest. 

Best enjoyed neat to appreciate its complexity, but it also pairs well with game meats, spiced biscuits, or soft cheeses like Brie. For a more adventurous match, try it with sweet chili crisps, where its balanced sweetness and spice shine through.
