Highland Park Single Cask Series 18 Year Scotch (750 ml)

This first-fill sherry seasoned European oak butt was laid down on the 28th of July of 2003 and tipped on the 29th of March 2022 to yield just 516 bottles of non-chill filtered Highland Park single malt Scotch whisky.

Tasting Notes: Deep, rich and complex, this superb whisky opens with inviting aromas of warm, spiced gingerbread, smouldering peat smoke and molten black treacle. Warm notes of crystalized ginger follow with hints of sweet nutmeg, warm treacle tart and curls of whittled oak. Woody spices linger at the finish with a sweet hint of vanilla fudge, old-fashioned aniseed balls and fragrant peat smoke. The whisky's glorious deep ruby hues are driven entirely naturally by the cask it has matured in.
