This distinguished release has been matured in 30-Year-Old Hine Cognac XO barrels, in the famed location of Bardstown, Kentucky. The result is a rich, complex, and well-rounded whiskey that exhibits unparalleled depth and character. This particular expression is the fruit of an inspired collaboration between HIRSCH Selected Whiskeys and the esteemed Hine Cognac.

Hine Cognac, celebrated globally for its remarkable blends, vintage and extra old cognacs, has a proud history spanning 259 years. It possesses an unrivaled collection of exceptional cognacs that date back to the 1800s, making this collaboration with HIRSCH an event of notable prestige.

A carefully chosen set of 54 barrels of 6-year-old bourbon were granted the honor of maturing in 30-year-old XO Hine Cognac casks for an additional 18 months. This process infused the bourbon with subtle yet perceptible Cognac notes. The unique expression in this bottle boasts a mash bill of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley. On nosing, you'll find hints of dusty cherry and charred citrus, while your palate will be treated to the taste of overripe stone fruit and fresh raisin. It provides a soft heat and finishes dry, yet the flavor continues to unfold and mature even after the last drop.
