Horse Soldier Bourbon was founded by U.S. Army Special Forces veterans, known as the Green Berets. The brand honors the “Horse Soldiers,” the first American troops who rode on horseback into Afghanistan right after the 9/11 attacks. Each glass bottle is made with steel from the World Trade Center, serving as a heartfelt tribute to those who lost their lives on that tragic day.

This Straight Bourbon Whiskey follows strict aging and production standards. It’s bottled at 87 Proof (43.5% ABV) and crafted from a traditional recipe made mostly of corn (about 65%), along with rye and malted barley. The whiskey is aged for at least two years in charred new American oak barrels, giving it deep character and warmth. It’s also non-chill filtered, preserving its rich texture and full flavor.

The aroma is inviting, with notes of toffee, sweet corn, apple, and caramel. On the palate, you’ll taste smooth hints of vanilla, honey, nutmeg, and toasted corn, finished with a touch of spicy oak or cinnamon.

Horse Soldier Bourbon has earned numerous awards, including a Double Gold Medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
